4 Quick and Easy Snacks
Having trouble finding something quick to eat? Between having no time to prepare yourself a meal or simply owning an empty fridge, it’s often a challenge to treat yourself. Luckily, I’ve gathered a list of five snacks that are delicious and easy to pull out.
1. Ham and Cheese Sandwich
This classic combo never gets old. All you need are two slices of bread, a slice of ham, and a slice of cheese. Feel free to add any other toppings, such as lettuce or mayonnaise. Personally, this is my go-to whenever I’m in the mood for something light. This sandwich with a pinch of mayo always does the trick for me.
2. Trail Mix
To me, creating your own trail mix is like customizing your own room—selecting everything to perfection. Combine a mix of nuts, dried fruits, and a handful of dark chocolate or pretzels. Pour it all in a bowl or a zip-top bag for a portable snack wherever you go.
3. Greek Yogurt
Greek yogurt is a protein-packed snack that’s appetizing yet healthy. There are a variety of brands and flavors to choose from, like vanilla and raspberry. You could even layer it with your favorite granola or fresh berries, if you please. It satisfies you with the right amount of filling—not too light nor filling.
4. Fruits
Lastly, this list simply wouldn’t be complete without mentioning fruits. If, for some reason, you haven’t considered it, you definitely should. It’s naturally good for you and delicious as well. My favorites include apples, grapes, and watermelon. But if you enjoy any others, feel free to take them on your next trip to the grocery store. They serve as the perfect, juicy midnight snack.
