Choosing High School Electives

Most students select electives based on the class workload, but wouldn’t it be more beneficial to decide on an elective that reflects you? Electives don’t have to consist of multiple AP courses or unchallenging courses; they should also include classes that highlight your passions. Passions come in various forms such as an interest in crime or cooking! Colleges are always interested in learning more about your personal life; being able to incorporate it into a school environment is just a plus. Don’t worry about these courses not assisting you for college because many offer countless scholarship opportunities!
