Journaling
Journaling is a healthy mechanism for relieving nerves and venting if you’re not in the position to express it to people in your life without experiencing environments where you don’t feel accepted. Instead, you could try to think of positive parts of your life to dominate your negative thoughts. Positive experiences will reduce stress levels and help with depression and anxiety. Journaling gives you a chance to understand yourself and your goals.
How Do I Start?
Choose your preferred writing style, which could either be digital or written. And you don’t have to write a whole essay in one essay, and it could just be one minute of your day. It could be anything you want, you could focus on the positive or reevaluate your negative. The journal is YOUR thoughts and feelings, so be as stubborn or blunt as you want. Don’t censor your emotions because this is for you, so it doesn’t have to be grammatically correct. It would help to stick with the same time frame because you’ll stay more consistent with a scheduled session. It would help to talk about exact thoughts and why you’re feeling that way, so when you review it, you and understand where it came from.
