Overdraft Fees

Credit cards are a great way to make transactions even if you don’t have enough balance for it yet. There are situations where if you don’t have enough money in your account banks will cover the cost and give you an overdraft fee of $24 or less. They make it seem like they’re helping you out or you got lucky, but it’s unnecessary to give yourself another expense that you cannot afford. It’s very easy to start getting into debt with this, so you should be avoiding it entirely by not impulsively spending. Set up alerts once you’ve reached a certain point in your money that it’s on the verge of being in the negatives and add a little extra money to prevent it from getting too bad.
