If you’re into a bunch of different music or a new genre to explore, you’ve come to the right place. I’ll be sharing some of my top artists within each genre if you’re interested in something different.

Rap: Drake

Now, while he may be rather mainstream, you can never go wrong with a classic. Drake, the Canadian sensation, has solidified his place in the rap game with his smooth beats and versatile flow. From the lyrics of “Take Care” to the energetic vibes of “Hotline Bling,” Drake’s discography offers a track for every mood.

Rock: Arctic Monkeys

If the raw energy of rock is your vibe, the Arctic Monkeys won’t disappoint. Hailing from Sheffield, England, this band brings a fresh take to the rock genre with hits like “Do I Wanna Know?” and “R U Mine?” Their calming sound is a perfect blend of guitar riffs and lovable rhythms.

R&B: Wale

For soulful melodies and R&B vibes, look no further than Wale. With his mesmerizing voice and honest lyrics, he has become a force to be reckoned with in the contemporary R&B scene. Tracks like “Lotus Flower Bomb” and “On Chill” showcase his ability to evoke emotion through his music.

Alternative: TV Girl

Last but not least, my personal favorite of the list is TV Girl. This indie pop band consists of Brad Petering, Jason Wyman, and Wyatt Harmon from San Diego, California. You might’ve heard the more popular songs like “Not Allowed” and “Lover’s Rock,” but consider listening to other tracks like “Birds Don’t Sing” or “Shame.” Who knows, you might just like it!
