Analytics employs math, statistics, and technology to determine the patterns in data, allowing students to track their progress with coursework. There are different variations of collecting data analytics that: can be used as a tool.
Predictive data analytics:
This is the most popular version because they develop predictions of their future based on the data, identifying risks and opportunities
Prescriptive data analytics:
AI is used to determine what actions to take for projected outcomes.
Diagnostic data analytics:
Drill-down and data mining methodologies are: used to analyze data to understand the causes of events.
Descriptive data analytics:
This is the foundation for most databases because it covers specific data questions such as amount, date, or location.
This newfound knowledge provides a new perspective in education because, with analytics, teachers can improve students’ performance because they’re able to directly examine their weaknesses in greater depth without putting in too much effort.
