Daycare Costs
For many families, child care is the largest cost for parents. Families are sacrificing their savings and income to afford daycare prices. Nowadays, it’s more difficult for a parent to stay at home because houses need both incomes just to barely meet mortgage payments. They have no other chance but to use a third party to watch their child at high prices until the child can attend elementary school. Statistically, child care isn’t a worry when it only takes 7% of their income, but more than often it ranges from 10%-25%. It shouldn’t be a luxury to afford someone to watch your kid while you’re working. Parents are paying almost rent prices for daycares, then they spend months on waitlists before they’re able to get a spot. Families are hoping that the new election will have solutions for the childcare issues. People are giving up their liberty just for their children like working multiple jobs, moving closer to family, quitting, or getting into debt.
