New York City Ballet Gala

This year’s spring gala will celebrate New York City Ballet’s Founding Choreographer George Balanchine’s incredible artistry as we present Vienna Waltzes. Exclusively performed by New York City Ballet, this gorgeous five-part piece showcases Balanchine’s fondness for the waltz, featuring opulent scenery, sumptuous costumes, and more than 50 dancers in dreamlike motion. Set in moonlit Austrian forests and the regal ballrooms of Vienna, the ballet pays homage to an age of imperial grandeur and culminates in a magnificent finale.
